 I set xochat.org as server in 8.2-760 (just because I don't know another
 working server).

 I can see others fine, they can see me. But if I share e.g. Chat
 publically, others do not see it in their mesh view. Similarly, if I
 invite someone to a fresh Chat, they do not get an invitation.

 This is not Chat-specific, I see the same problem in Etoys. Also, collab
 in the local net works fine, just not via the server. This makes testing
 harder because you can never be sure you are actually using the server
 when testing with two machines sitting next to  each other.
