 So am I getting this right, the core issue here is the Activity Handbook
 being a .pdf which means it can't be included in the builds?

 I think a more reasonable approach is following skierpage's latest
 comment: "In the absence of the re-generated docbook HTML I see no reason
 not to update sugar-handbook.pdf."

 As previously mentioned a
 [http://www.olpcaustria.org/mediawiki/index.php/Activity_handbook#Chapter_Overview
 quick'n'dirty wikified version] of the Activity Handbook is also available
 at but it ain't as pretty or useable as the
 [http://www.olpcaustria.org/mediawiki/upload/a/a1/Handbook_200805.pdf .pdf
 version].
