 Strange number font happens when changing between Roman and Arabic
 characters.

 The numbers look like an italic font, but after you hit a few roman
 letters, then the number font changes back to non-italic.

 Need some real test cases to understand the compose and right-to-left
 needs for arabic. Here is where the tests need to be documented:
