 Sorry, cscott, modern programming is beyond my present skillset.  Out of
 curiousity, I did copy the above line into Terminal, which responded
 thusly:

 $ python -c
 'open('/dev/urandom','w').write(open('/dev/hwrng').read(1024))'
   File "<string>", line 1
     open(/dev/urandom,w).write(open(/dev/hwrng).read(1024))
          ^
 SyntaxError: invalid syntax
