 On 2nd try, I closed the lid while on AC power with a full battery (97%),
 then immediately pulled the power plug and left it undisturbed. It stayed
 suspended for between 44 and 47 hours until I noticed the red power LED
 on. When opened, (it takes minutes for the battery display to update), the
 battery was at 8%.
