 In my opinion, because Journal and Browse are different activities it
 still make sense that in Browse will stay some kind of visual info that a
 task is still in progress, then details could be eventually kept in
 Journal, but as a matter of fact, the download is still in charge to
 Browse (if you stop browse you'll be asked to cancel the ongoing transfer)
 and does not belong to Journal.

 Maybe a simple warning note  that the progress information will be shown
 in the Journal entry could be a reasonably good workaround ( to appear in
 the download  and in the "cancel download on exit Browse" message boxes).
