 please pardon me in advance for not really understanding if this is a bug,
 just an issue or simply an annoyance.

 while attempting to run distance activity on two test bed XOs they
 couldn't find one another on the mesh. further inspection (with the help
 of michael stone and others) found that it might be spectrum saturation.

 there are more details, if this is a bug please tell me what you need to
 know.

 after reboot this morning everything is working fine. however, after
 numerous reboots yesterday it wasn't fixing the problem.
