 I installed 759 by clean reinstall on a B4.  After associating with my WPA
 wireless network, I clicked on the "get activities" notification to
 download the G1G1 activity pack.  After downloading the activities, being
 notified there were updates, downloading updates, and being notified that
 there was another update, I clicked the "update" button for a third time.
 X crashed.  I was sent back to the console.  X immediately restarted, and
 showed lots of Activities installed.

 dmesg showed nothing related to the crash, so it was not OOM.  No other
 log files seem to contain any relevant information.

 dsd has also observed this behavior.
