Comment:

 This happened to me today, the system was very slow and the arrow cursor
 lagged a lot. 'top' showed pdflush as using >80% of cpu. The 2nd process
 taking 9% cpu was jffs2_gcd_mtd0 . I had no usb or sd card plugged in.
