 Fool that I am, this morning I launched 2 instances of Firefox-4 activity
 and started surfing Trac tickets, which led me to launch Browse as well to
 investigate bugs. I had almost finished typing up a Trac comment when the
 '''dreaded slows''' started. I tried exiting unneeded instances, but no
 luck, my XO froze up with a messy screen.  Then I went away.  Many hours
 later I came back to a functioning Sugar in Home view, with no running
 Firefox nor Browse, but one useless unstoppable grey dot icon in the top
 frame.

 /var/logs/messages (to be attached) includes references to 'oom-killer'.

 I don't think I was doing anything excessively resource-intensive, but the
 slows still happened. We must diagnose & fix this recurring problem!
