 It was reproducible on my machine but I thinl othere activities did not
 have this behavior. I no longer have 757 on my machine so I can't test it
 right now.

 I don't know what you want as a test case. You go into line mode , make
 TurtleArt a favorite and in circle mode you have two instances of
 TurtleArt. It would not surprise me that there waas somethinng peculiar
 about the version of 757 I installed which caused this behavior since it
 was flaky in other ways,
