Comment(by joe):

 Another laptop demonstrated the same behavior - in this case only 9
 activities were downloaded (after multiple attempts): Etoys, Chat,
 Distance, Develop, Colors!, Calculate, Browse, Bounce, Analyze. The laptop
 was connected to a school server. The log is attached.
