Comment:

 Please tag hal-0.5.11-2.olpc3.1 and hal-info-20080607-1.olpc3.1 for 8.2
 (dist-olpc3). These fixed packages are already included in the build but
 are coming from my public_rpms. I have only now managed to get this
 package forked upstream.

 I will file a new bug to track the setscheduler vs rainbow issue for
 hopeful inclusion in 8.2.1.
