Comment:

 This document opened fine for me on build 8.2-757 with Read-50. Browse
 started the download which can then be viewed with a progress bar in the
 Journal. When it had finished downloading, Browse did show a notification
 "Download completed <filename> [ Show in Journal ] [ Ok ]"

 If you can get it to fail on this version (or the latest Joyride with
 Read-50) please reopen the ticket and provide the log file from Read
 (org.laptop.sugar.ReadActivity-n.log) according to
 http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Attaching_Sugar_Logs_to_Tickets.
