It's easy to determine that your XO is running, e.g. build 650 or build
708. But you don't know that this is the 7.1.0 ("ship.2") release or the
8.1.1 release. So it's hard to get to the right release and release note
info on the wiki, and it makes pages that describe features "new in
release 8.2.0" less meaningful.
Ideally, "About my XO" in the Sugar control panel and maybe some of the
other methods in in
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/How_to_check_the_OS_and_firmware_version would
show the release you're running, e.g.
Release: 8.1.1 (build 757)
