 When running build 8.2-767, on a laptop with the Synaptics touchpad, with
 "Automatic power management" enabled, the touchpad takes a little time to
 "wake up".

 See the attached dmesg log for details.   Around 2.3 seconds after
 resuming, there is a note:

 input: PS/2 Synaptics TouchPad as
 /devices/platform/i8042/serio1/input/input19

 On the console, we see an additional message (which I suspect comes before
 the above message in time.   The X log shows that upon resume, X can't
 talk to the Synaptics device, closes it out, then discovers it again...
