 The usual metaphor (all other GUIs) is a trash can/recycle bin.  Permanent
 deletion happens when the recycle bin is "emptied".  For school servers
 with enough storage, there might even be a way to retrieve stuff after the
 recycle bin has been emptied (akin to visiting the dump??).

 Agreed - in other GUIs kids love the sound of items going into the recycle
 bin as well as the sound of it being emptied.
