Comment:

 Jerry has posted a mkslim script that does a good job of removing some
 large redundant files from the 'images' dir in the iso img. Closing this
 bug on the strength of mkslim.

 There is a long-standing bug with pungi/revisor however that forces us to
 carry a ton of x.org/gtk/gnome RPMs that are actually only needed to build
 the 'stage2' image. Revisor devs claims to have that sorted out but I have
 not been able to use revisor in a way that works correctly.

 Opened #8826 for the remaining work post xs-0.5
