 I tried the fix mentioned above (added Option "MigrationHeuristic"
 "greedy" to xorg.conf device section) and the display rendering bugs in
 Browse-98 and Firefox-6 went away (testing build 8.2-767).

 As a side effect (and I could be wrong about this) my XO seems a bit
 faster than before.  Need to do some quantitative testing, but have no
 time right now.

 Will there be any undesirable side-effects from the fix?  I've fallen in
 love with it already.

 I don't understand any of this, I'm just doing Monkey See Monkey Do, but
 the results seem good.
