 i olpc-updated a 656 XO to 708 in the terminal activity and upon reboot
 found the activities gone. in a second XO I reproduced this issue and
 found that the preinstalled activities were deleted, but not the
 activities I had downloaded a few days ago.

 clearly not an issue for 8.2-767 but maybe an issue for g1g1 donors.
