#9036: rainbow causes gstreamer cache to be rebuilt on every launch

If it does not exist already, gstreamer creates some kind of plugin cache
in the user's home directory. This speeds up subsequent launches of
 gstreamer applications.

However, because rainbow creates a user account for each activity, and
wipes the home directory inbetween each launch, this cache is never kept.
This is slowing down activity launching.

Also, even if the cache was made persistent in that directory, it is a
shame that each gstreamer-based activity would have its own cache, rather
 than sharing a master copy.
