 To make the Activity go away for sure after 'rm -r
 Activities/ActivityName.activity', reboot the XO.  [During the system re-
 initialization process, that Activity will be removed from the "activity
 registry" kept by 767 (on which the F3 'list view' is based).]

 Better yet, don't remove the activity by issuing 'rm -r
 Activities/ActivityName.activity' in Terminal.  Instead, go to the
 Activity icon's palette (drop-down menu) in F3, and click on 'erase'.
 That should remove the Activity then and there.  [Leftover entries in
 Journal from that Activity are another matter - you are best off erasing
 them individually.]
