Comment:

 The logs you attached show it was the Cerebro version of Chat that you
 tried to launch.

 The last line of the org.laptop.Chat-1.log is: <class
 'dbus.exceptions.DBusException'>:
 org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.olpc.cerebro was
 not provided by any .service files

 Poly, please rename your activity and change its log file - I think
 changing the metadata in activity.info is sufficient.
