Comment:

 This bug is rather more wide spread (testing on joyride 1946) and is
 related to the new UI designs.

 When closing any activity, you are returned to the next activity in the
 stack, the root of the stack being Journal which is where you get dumped
 if no other activities are left running.

 I'd propose that the closing of an activity should simply return the user
 to the Home view:

  - to reinforce the zoom metaphor
  - to provide a consistent behaviour
  - to avoid confusion as some fairly random activity pops into focus just
 because of launch order
