 I have no idea.  I was running jhbuild in emulation on a connection
 through Collabora's Jabber server.  Since then, every component of the
 system has changed extensively, including Acoustic Tape Measure.

 This bug should probably be pushed upstream to the Pango developers, who
 perhaps will recognize the assertion failure.
