 1. Set brigtness between the lowest (off) and highest setting. (lets use
 off+1)
 2. Suspend machine via power button.
 3. Resume.
 4. Press the power "up" button. Notice that it gets darker, not brighter.

 The brightness is on full blast on resume. This can waste power without
 the user's realizing it unless they change their brightness levels again.
