> Indeed evince has some issues with memory usage, especially when zooming
in. This is not really an OLPC specific bug, and some minor improvements
are already in the version we ship. Maybe we could also decrease the size
of the page cache. The fact that OLPC uses a reader based on evince caused
this issue to be moved up in priority, so hopefully it will improve soon
(see http://live.gnome.org/Evince/Roadmap)
The pdfs I can not open in XO-1 can be open in ubuntu with Evince. May be
putting more memory will help solve the problem.
