 I recently used olpc-update to go to update1-702
 both network upgrade (the first time) and a usb
 key upgrade the second.

 It appeared that olpc-update was hung in that no
 progress was visible on the console output.  Finally,
 after hours of waiting, I picked up my XO, touched
 the control key, and instantly the display filled
 with all the missing output text and the next command
 prompt.  My guess is the status messages are not
 being flushed.

 This happened with the console (Alt-F2) for sure.
 I think it happened with the Terminal as well (but
 I'm not 100% certain).  If my G1G1 ever arrives from
 the warehouse, I'll try it on a clean system.
