most of the work we do in the XS (and a growing chunk of the work in the
XO I'm sure) is tracking upstream software versions. As we stabilise our
code, we'll start seeing bug reports that are actually about upstream
bugs.
The Ubuntu team have been at this for far longer than we have, and have
added to Malone (which drives launchpad.net) the smarts to track upstream
bugs - it can talk a bit to bugzilla, debbugs, etc. Do you know much about
this? Can we have something similar in trac? Is anyone in the trac dev
team thinking about this?
