Comment:

 Actually, when eToyFriendly is on the "add a new variable" item is *not*
 offered in the viewer's menu.

 At some point in the past there was a push toward having "only one way to
 do each thing", and since there was a button for adding a new variable, we
 were asked to remove the corresponding menu item, but only for the case of
 eToyFriendly being true,

 So Kathleen's complaint is correct for eToyFriendly = true, and
 Korakurider's rejoinder is correct for eToyFriendly = false.

 In any case, I'll change the help message so that it will not misstate
 things.
