Comment:

 Cool.  I'm glad to hear people like it.  I modified Speak so it will
 attempt to pick a voice based on $LANG.  I'm not quite sure how to test it
 except by manually setting LANG to something else and running "sugar-
 launch Speak" from the Terminal.

 You can try the updated version here:

 I also added gettext _("...") calls and po/*.pot files as described in the
 wiki in case someone wants to translate the greeting, names of the
 languages, etc.

 If someone can test this, or show me how to, I'll update the version of
 Speak on the wiki to include this.
