 I'd still very much like to see (ultimately) the activity match the
 mockups at http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Chat.  The addition of the stylus
 input would be a huge advantage over the average chat interface, and it
 also makes the input area much clearer, I think.

 Placing the input field within a 75px "toolbar" would probably be a
 reasonable approach in the interim.
