 The "stable" versions of olpc-update linked from http://wiki.laptop.org/go
 /Olpc-update will not work on the latest joyrides and 8.2, because the
 version of the shared libicu library has changed.  Either the text should
 be updated, or we should start building a static-linked version, or...?
