Comment:

 I'm not sure I see any real use cases here.  Certainly opening a terminal
 and typing a command isn't faster than simply pressing the Journal key.
 The one place it does make some sense, in my mind, is object choosers,
 which might wish to pre-filter to show only images, or only recent items,
 or only items which match some search term.  This has been accounted for
 in my forthcoming designs for the object chooser
 (wiki.laptop.org/go/Designs/Object_Chooser), and is covered by #3060.
