Comment:

 This frustrates me!  Oh well, if it still calls for API changes, then I
 guess it has to slip.  Let's make sure that it is addressed early in the
 9.1.0 cycle so it doesn't slip yet again.  Getting this right will make
 the startup animation transition seamlessly into Home.
