Comment:

 Adding a non-modal alert for success and failure shouldn't be too hard,
 and lack of feedback is something I've really been wanting to improve.
 They can be of the form:

  1. '''Registration Successful:''' You are now registered with <school>.
  2. '''Registration Failed:''' <some hopefully meaningful error message
 here>.

 In the future, when registration gets properly attached to a school server
 icon in the neighborhood, we can add the typical pulsing feedback to
 immediately indicate that the registration request is being sent.
