Comment:

I ''think'' that I'm safe in closing this ticket.

There are two ways to get activities when an update to a new version of
Sugar wipes out activities. First, we have activity packs (which may be
installed by default in some releases), and these include a specific
format for specifying a set of default favorites. Tomeu already has this
working, so if an activity pack is either supplied with the release, or
installed afterward, things should work fine.

The other case is when, people individually download activities one by
one. I argue that in this case we should be treating the newly installed
activity as a favorite by default. It's easy enough to remove the
favorite, but I think its best to expose the activity as directly as
possible, so that kids can quickly find and start it once downloaded,
without even needing to know about the list view yet. This should solve
Bert's concern, and I've adjusted the title of the ticket to reflect the
changes needed. Since this seems like a pretty easy thing to add, it
would be really good to make it work properly in 8.2.0 when we introduce
 the new Home paradigm.
