Comment:

 So far, we're effectively asking for a nickname and nothing more.  The
 possibility of adding additional identity info (full name, address, etc.)
 is something worth discussing in detail, but it seems (to me, at least)
 that in any case we'd prefer to keep first boot extremely simple, and
 asking kids to a) recall a bunch of info they may or may not even know and
 b) type that info when they've never typed before is the wrong thing to
 do.

 I'm changing the title to reflect the decision to be made.
