Comment:

The new object chooser mockups (wiki.laptop.org/go/Designs/Object_Chooser)
include Journal-like search and filter capability. As such, I'd like to
allow activities to a) specify a mime-type list and b) specify default
filters and perhaps even c) specify if those filters are locked.

In this manner, Write could pre-set the "Anything" filter to "Images", and
additionally pass a list of supported mime-types such that, for instance,
SVGs don't appear within the list. In the insert image case, Write may
also want to prevent the user from changing the "anything" filter.
Finally, we may also wish to allow Write to pass the string "Choose an
image" to replace the default "Choose an object" string.

I'm not sure how hard these additions will be given the patches provided
here and the recent changes to the object chooser, but I think that
improving the chooser interactions is a really important thing to do for
Sugar. I'm proposing 8.2.0:? in case this is easy...otherwise I vote for
 9.1.0:+
