Comment:

The fact that objects listed in the Gallery-of-Players which are not
currently present in the object tree of the current "world" do get
(re)deposited into the world when you request "where is this object" is a
long-standing, standard feature of the "reveal" feature: If the object
referred to is already "in the world", flash it; if not, first bring it
 back into the world.

Since the one explicit bug reported here (the MNU when requesting "inspect
object", was fixed by update 2008PlayersToolFixjun5-yo, I'm closing this
 TRAC item.

If anyone has an explicit example where the gallery-of-players "over-
reports" no-longer-present objects that the user considers should not be
reported, that is perhaps best dealt with by filing a separate TRAC report
to which an actual .pr file is attached to clarify and document the issue.

Likewise, if anyone considers the current behavior when "reveal" (aka
"where is this object?") is requested for an object not "in the world" to
be a bug, please file another, separate, TRAC item for that.

 Thanks... sw
