 We're planning to slowly roll out updates for G1G1, right?

 While this is a good idea, it can cause confusion if the user has third
 party apps (skype, etc) and they suddenly disappear.

 In the future, we should have a dialogue informing the user, with a yes/no
 box (maybe as a notification in the bar) informing _why_ they should
 update.
