 While investigating an XO security issue I was surprised to learn that XO
 logfiles are not preserved after a power-down (they are in /tmp). This is
 disadvantageous for investigating and documenting issues with the XO
 including security issues which may arise.

 I understand that this is currently the intended behaviour. Should it be?
