 The latest olpcrd packages cat the UUID into /dev/urandom at bootup, which
 might be enough random bits to unblock .Xauthority generation.  You might
 try seeing if just pulling the latest olpcrd into the olpc3 branch fixes
 the problem for now.

 Longer term, I would like to see us grab some random bits from the
 hardware RNG during bootup.  Maybe olpcrd is still a good place to do
 this.  Taking 1k bytes from /dev/hw_random takes less than 0.01 second,
 that seems a very reasonable thing to do.
