scenario] were you testing? Was any encryption involved?

School WiFi. One of the XOs couldn't connect to other XOs.

 The process:

 1. Installation of the 708 build was done on top of the 703. Two XOs were
 tested.

With one XO, there was no problem w/installation, and connectivity w/other
 XOs worked without a hitch.

 With another XO (Build update.1 708, Q2D16, CSN748018DF), I ran the
installation 3 times before the build was eventually installed. That XO
couldn't connect to other XOs. After the machine was left in the "power
on" state (on external power) over the weekend, I tried to power it off
through the menu; it didn't want to shut down. Then, I used the power
button to shut down the machine, again without success. Only after I
disconnected the external power supply, I was able to power it off using
 the power button.
After that the machine booted up properly and was able to connect to other
 XOs.

This defect is not normally reproducible.
