Was looking at Log-9.xo with a recent Joyride. Let me suggest enhancing
 its "user friendliness":

** When logs provide a time-stamp, it gets shown in 'Unix' format. Time
stamps would be more useful if shown in "human-readable" format.

** The table of contents on the left lists 'wtmp'. But if that is
selected, the panel on the right says "Can't open file '/var/log/wtmp'".
That file *is* there (with read permission). [To show '/var/log/wtmp'
content in human-readable form, special formatting would be required.]

** The 'dmesg' output is whatever is recorded in 'var/log/dmesg'. More
up-to-date information would be available to the user if the activity
itself were to issue the 'dmesg' command and show its output (root
 privilege required).

** The "log output" of the activity shows that it was unable to access
those files (principally 'messages') in '/var/log' which require root
 permission.
