 The way I use my computers at home requires that both the XO olpc-user and
 root-user passwords be set.  Running with Joyride 2226, when I use the
 'passwd' command, it tells me '/usr/share/cracklib/pw_dict: error reading
 header', then 'PWOpen: Success' -- but the passsword I entered does
 __NOT__ get stored.
