 When you click on the S-C-P dropdown menu item, from the home screen, the
 drop down menu freezes for a while (it doesn't even get redrawn). While
 the time lag is not much, this gives an impression that the UI is slow.
 Even if S-C-P takes that much time to start, there should ideally be some
 workaround to avoid showing that blank dropdown menu.
