 hmmm, stupid me, just realised this is because I did not press enter after
 editing the project name. Maybe an edit in this field should be auto-
 accepted when the user clicks outside the field or alternatively prevent
 the user exiting the project until they accept the edit?

 PS: Also source of problem mentioned in #7559 "sugar nav bar with a red
 rectangle on top" (but as it turns out unrelated to #7559)
