 In joyride, TamTam doesn't work very well. Even when you start TamTamMini
 and just start a drum beat without playing any instruments, you get quite
 regular crackles/blips. At the same time as these imperfections, console
 messages (from alsa-lib?) appear, stating that underruns have occurred.

 Downgrading to stable kernel 2.6.22 works around the problem. Sound output
 is smooth and no underrun messages appear.
