Comment:

 I reject since I guess we need to polish it a bit.

  - try with xulappinfo, without 'a' (maybe with the other fixes this works
 now)
  - try to find sane values from pkgconfig
 (XULAppInfoService.prototype.platformBuildID = '2008051202') not sure what
 the right ones are though
  - decide if xulappinfo should be hulahop or an activity business

 interesting information in the meamo browser (even though they patch
 mozilla)? This patch for example seems to deal with the extensions:
